Huelva overview

Huelva is a fine distraction for those visiting Seville in western Andalusia. It has the quintessential look and feel of the windswept and quiet beaches of the Costa de la Luz and also has an alright old town. The ancient Church of San Pedro in town is a Huelva highlight, while the Provincial Museum displays finds of the region. In addition, Huelva is also popular with ornithologists, where migrating birds hit the nearby Odiel Marshes, although the promise of year-round climate is the main draw meaning unhindered lazing on beaches and uncluttered surfing and scuba diving. Seville is the main gateway to Huelva from the Spanish side and you can also get in via Faro Airport across from Portugal side.
