Ibiza overview

There is a reason why Ibiza, or Eivissa, is Europe’s favourite beach holiday destination for partygoers; the party atmosphere is simply unbeatable. Ibiza boasts some of the best nightclubs you’re ever likely to experience and they are worked by world renowned DJs. Ibiza also has beautiful beaches and some of the best value hotels in the Balearics. There is also Ibiza’s old town to tempt sightseers in the off season where pretty squares, boulevards and typically Spanish buildings reside. The big draw is of course the beach and nightlife, which is best done June through August if you’re a rave head, and either side of this if you fancy a more measured time. Ibiza has an airport and also receives ferries from Valencia and Alicante.
