Malaga overview

Most tourists in search of sun, sea and sangria along the popular Costa del Sol in southern Spain fly into Malaga. This is probably more due to the number of budget airlines that fly into this airport than for any other reason. Malaga is a big city but are nicer cities in Spain such as in Seville. Malaga has a good beach but there is a much nicer beach just an hour’s drive further on in Nerja. However, the city does have a great summer festival in August and if you want to see bulls fight each other, then Malaga is the place for the national blood and gore fest. The historic Alcazaba is an interesting place to visit and the nightlife in the city is one of the best in Andaluc?a.
