Pyrenees-Aragon overview

Pyrenees-Aragon Travel Guide
If you want to visit a region in Spain that isn’t full of the bucket and spade brigade and not one English-themed pub in sight; consider the Pyrenees-Aragon. There’s no coastline so if you are looking for beach then you are in the wrong place but the mountain scenery is breath-taking and during the wintertime when visitors can ski or in the summer, hike. There are excellent ski resorts at Candanchu, Cerler, Formigal, Javalambre and Valdelinares. The city of Zaragoza is the region’s capital; it’s a beautiful city and is a convenient stopping off point for those travelling by road between Madrid and Barcelona. The Ordesa National Park which is the oldest nature reserve in Spain can be found in the Aragon Pyrenees.
