Santiago Compost. Travel Guide
Santiago Compost is not only the capital of the Galicia Province but also a UNESCO World Heritage Site; a status highly sought after by unique and old destinations around the world. Many people visit the city via the medieval pilgrimage route; the Way of St James. It’s a beautiful walk and that are all part of its charm. The town itself has a beautiful old quarter with lots of old buildings and the most famous is the old cathedral that dates back to the ninth century. The new city isn’t overly interesting and if you are short on time, there’s no need to visit it as there is not much to see.
